Definitely not classic Salade niçoise

green beans, tomatoes

grilled peppers

tuna fish (in oil)

eggs

garlic

anchovies (in oil)

black olives

basil

olive oil, salt and peppercorns

Steam green beans, not too long.

On a roasting pan, mix green beans, sliced tomatoes and peppers in olive oil and minced garlic.. Add tuna fish, olives and if necessary, more olive oil. Slip eggs in greased ramekinss, with salt, pepper and olive oil. Place the ramekins on the baking dish.

Cook/roast about 10 minutes. Just before serving, add basil. But even better with citrus basil…

Salade niçoise is a French classic dish that never looks the same. This warm version is definitely not classic but should be happily tried on a rainy day...
