Prune soup with lemon thyme syrup

This simple recipe can be prepared in advance to enable you to top your cereals while half sleeping.  Syrup: mix 50 cl water and 125 g sugar, and let simmer with lemon thyme for about 15 minutes. Reserve until cold. Pour syrup in a jar, add prunes, pitted and quartered. Refrigerate. Yummy with figs too.
